Oakline Players are based at Poppleton Road Memorial Hall, a multi-purpose, suburban Community Hall in Oak St, off the A59 Poppleton Road, two miles from York City Centre.
The group meets each Tuesday from 7.30 pm. Additional Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings, in the run up to each production, supplemented by weekend Technical and Dress rehearsals.
We average two productions a year, in May and November, giving a break for summer holidays, gardening and other fine weather jobs, plus the Xmas season.
Pantomimes, Light Comedies, Whodunnits and Variety revues all feature in our repertoire.
Actors, directors, lighting and sound technicians, musicians, stage crew, costume and scenery makers, and administrators are all welcome to join us. Experienced or not, you will be assured of a warm welcome.

The Group holds an AGM each June, when a small Committee is elected, to steer us through the following year.
