About Yortime

The Yortime website provides a directory of information on clubs and organisation in York. Groups that join can add their events to the calendar and provide contact details and background information about their activities.

Yortime is part of City of York Council Leisure and Library Services.

Groups contributing to Yortime

Security and passwords

After registering you will receive a login and password. You are responsible for keeping the login and password confidential and are fully responsible for all activities that happen using your login and password.

You submit proposed content and changes and your amendments may be changed at the absolute discretion of the Yortime administrator.

You agree to tell the Yortime administrator of any unauthorised use of your password or account or other security breach. You are also responsible for logging off at the end of each session.

Yortime is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these security arrangements.

Yortime hosted websites

Yortime provides groups with the opportunity to have a website without incurring costs. Web addresses take the form www.yortime.org.uk/groupname.

Groups with an existing site should link to their external website.

By setting up a Yortime hosted website you agree that Yortime may set limits to this service. This may include a maximum amount of disk space allocated on the server for a group.

You also agree that Yortime has no responsibility or liability for deleting or failing to store any content published or maintained on the Yortime website.

You agree that Yortime can remove any websites that have been inactive for an extended period of time.

You also agree that Yortime reserves the right to change its practices about Yortime hosted websites at any time, with or without notice.
