Greater York Community Archaeology Project
A project aimed to help local people to become involved in exporing archaeology and history in their area. A Community Archaeologist helps to run the project which provides free monthly workshops. Signposting and referral to local groups and the loan of archaeology equipment to help you explore your locality.

Greenpeace, York
Greenpeace is an environmental protection group world wide. We also run a local group for people to get active on large campaigns sucha s sea, forestry, atmosphere and wildlife etc.

Greenspirit (Association of Creation Spirituality)
Exploring spirituality, ecology and justice within the context of the emerging new universe story.

Guided Cycle Rides
Guided Cycle Rides in and around York are a great way to get out in the fresh air, get fit and meet people. The fun rides are open to people of all ages and abilities and are led by volunteers who have received training from Cycling City York to equip them with the knowledge and skills that they need.

Guild of Freemen
We are an association of freemen of York. We promote the good reputation of York. We protect the traditional rights of freemen and care for the welfare of freemen. We run a benevolent fund, subscribe to charitable causes and provide social activities.

Guitar Summer Courses
For people of all ages and abilities to come together and improve their knowledge of guitar playing. Optional concert to finish the course.
