Memories Of The War Years - In Poetry And Song
Over 60's meeting socially with a professional songwriter to chat and reminisce about their experiences during the War Years, to create songs and poems together.

Mentors Make A Difference
Adults from businesses and the community are matched with secondary and primary school students to mentor them through their school life. This is usually for one academic year. Mentors meet their students fortnightly in school for around half an hour.

To promote and publish research into cinema - both building and business history.

Merlin at Peterlee Parachute Centre
Merlin Parachute Centre evolved from Leeds/Bradford Parachute Club which then moved to Topcliffe. Other users of the military airfield at Topcliffe have now formed another move, this time to Shotton Airfield Co Durham.

Metcalfe Society
To study and record family history relating to those bearing the Metcalfe (and variants) surname.

Micklegate Singers
We are an adult choir of approximately 35 members. We rehearse weekly our programmes of mainly contemporary and lesser-known music, with performances three times a year.

Middleham Castle
Situated in the centre of Wensleydale the 12th century castle was home to the young Richard 111. Battlements and keep with exhibition of the Castle's ancestory families including King Richard 111

Millegro Contemporary Choir
A community choir open to adults of all ages who are looking for a new social and creative outlet. Performing a modern repertoire (classical, jazz, world music, funk and soul).

Millers Yard - Centre for Positive Living
Millers Yard is a centre dedicated to positive living. There are rooms available for hire including a large studio hall for classes and lectures plus treatment rooms for therapies.

Minster Minstrels
The York Early Music Ensemble for young people. With expert tuition and coaching, explore chamber music of Renaissance, Baroque, and Medieval periods. A collaboration between the National Centre for Early Music and City of York council Arts Service.
