We can offer free specialist support to groups in the areas of sport, art, music, dance, drama, the environment and open spaces, adult and family learning, reading and writing groups, archives and local and family history.

Whether you are bringing together a new group or have an established group with ambitions to grow, we can help at different stages of you group's development.

Promoting your groups

If you're a member of a not-for-profit group and would like to raise its profile there are various things you can do. Ideas for promotion include:

· Get your group listed in our groups directory and use the event calendar
· Create your own web pages that we will host for you
· Create publicity posters, leaflets or flyers
· Search the Yortime website for other groups or organisations who may be able to help you
