An introduction to life painting, exploring colour, form and flesh tones through bold brushstrokes.

Tutor: Sue Clayton

On this full day workshop, participants will be exploring and experimenting with painting techniques and the use of colour in painting the nude figure. You will be encouraged to explore colour mixing and the application of this in bold gestural strokes through careful observation of the anatomy of our life model.

A2 paper, charcoal/pencil for warm up exercises plus acrylic paints and brushes (preferably wide flat brushes)

This one day workshop welcomes all levels of people who want to develop their ability to paint from a life model.

To develop an appreciation of tone and colour in the painting of flesh tones and form.
