A fun relaxed day workshop to create a portrait using newsprint

In this one day workshop we will explore how to look at different tones on a monochromatic scale. Using a layering technique we will use newsprint to recreate an organic, loose striking portrait purely from newsprint.

Additional Information:
Participants will need to bring along old newspaper, scissors, glue stick. Black and white photo for portrait (look for strong contrast) Please bring a packed lunch. Hot drinks will be available for a small fee.


This course is for anyone wishing to explore the exciting challenge of creating a portrait through collage.
